  2. Am actually a student at St. Peter’s Preparatory High School, and am in a Humanities class, which featured your film O.W.W as part of the class. The film’s purpose was to study the meaning of truth and to compare your charcter with that of Mimi in the Italian play “La Boheme” i must say your performance was great and it made it easy for us, the students in the class to get inside your skin, and experience something new. the film has stayed with us ans so has your character, my next assiggment is to write about the charcter of Beth and how she was true to herself. thank you for such a great performance!

  3. A special hello from Texas to Rena Owen. My wife and I had the unparalleled pleasure of meeting you and your husband at the Dallas ComiCon and sending “Good Luck Magic Yoda” on his way to New Zealand. We just received the photos of M.Y. in his new home and can’t thank you enough. What a treat! When we get our website open later this year we will feature them prominantly. In the mean time a copy of all will accompany us to all future toy shows here in the Lone Star State and we look forward to commemerating Yoda’s journey this October in Plano, a little over a year after he left us to join you.

  4. Having seen your moving performance in OWW I felt I must comment on your fantastic talent. I also saw your superb performance in Rapa Nui. My only regret is that I was unable to see you perform live on the stage in Edinburgh or London. Anyway I hope that we can see you over here again in the near future.
By the way, congratulations on your recent nuptuals. I wish you all the best for the future and I hope your acting career continues to rise to even greater heights as I know you deserve.

  6. Recently became aware of Rena’s work in OWW,which I have now viewed twice and will purchase.Seeing great talent is rewarding, feeling it,greater.Of course the entire cast of OWW was very strong.Continue to impress.

  7. Recently saw “Once Were Warriors” on IFC (Independent Film Channel) and have to say that I was really impressed by your solid work and intensity in the role of Beth. Also, quite taken by the performance of the girl who played “Grace”. This is the first I have heard of you here. Was wondering if you do any stage acting as well and if you get to the States very much?
Again, the film was very moving and I appreciate your efforts. Good Luck in your career and wish you all the best!
