Synopsis

Loosely based on events that unfolded on Easter Island prior to its discovery by European explorers in 1722. The story centers around a civil war that decimated an entire culture, leaving only giant stone statues as mute testimony to their former greatness. “Rapa Nui” means center of the earth. It was a name given to the island by natives.
