Dear Rena,
Hello from Bermuda! I've just seen for the first time "We Were Warriors" last night and your performance in the film was just amazing, unbelievable and inspiring. I can't find the words to tell you how much that movie moved me as a human being. I wish you continued success and blessings! Love from Beatrice.

I noticed that your marae is parawhenua. My father wiliiam adams was also bought up in the area. He shifted out of the area before we were born. I was hoping that you may be able to help with info about Marae. Maunga Iwi awa connected to Marae.

I first saw you in "We Were Warriors", and I have to say, You were so great !! The part when she found her daughter hanging in the back yard, I felt that pain so deeply, it actually hurt. Supurb job!!!!
I recently saw you in "Mee-Shee". Wonderful. I don't normally write to actors and tell them how much I enjoy their acting ability, but that role in "...Warriors" was so heart wrenching.
Keep going. May you be blessed in many ways.
Sincerely Paula

I just watched OWW for the fifth time. Amazing how it never gets any less impactful. I'm sending you a note of thanks for providing us, the viewing public, with a moving performance in an incredible film that makes up for all the bad films we've been subjected to over the years!...
